Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! Hope all the kiddies had fun trick-or-treating on this rainy Saturday night!

Waiting for the trick-or-treaters to come!

The Rocky Horror Show

Last night Richie and I went to see the Rocky Horror Show at the Playwright in New Haven. I had never been to the Playwright or seen the Rocky Horror Show so I didn't really know what to expect. When the show/play first started I was totally lost...well actually I was kind of confused the entire time, but it was a lot of fun! The actors and actresses were really good and I felt good because we supported local acting! Our Prop Bag that we used throughout the play. Oh- I guess I forgot to mention it was an interactive play! They interacted with you, you interacted with them.

...to winter!

Yes, October 15th and we had about an inch and a half before the wonderful snow was complete. It was WAY too early for snow! But Riley was enjoying it! As soon as we opened the door to the backyard, she dove onto the deck and started eating the snow. All she wanted to do outside was run around like a nutcase, eat snow, and play with her ball!

From fall...

I took these pictures on October 12th...my mom helped us to decorate the house for fall. Aren't they cute?
Fall colors in our neighborhood as Riley and I take a walk...

It was a "Kodak Moment"!

After my family left yesterday, Richie, Riley, and I came upstairs to clean up a little and finishing watching one of the football games. As I was washing up, Richie came to find the camera and captured this picture of Riley. This is what happens after we have company...Riley gets sleepy!

Columbus Day!

Here is my lesson for everyone today:
"In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue."
The End! Enjoy your 3 day weekend (for those who got one)!

Jack O'Lantern

Thanks to my parents, we now have a pumpkin to show some Fall/Halloween spirit! Richie had fun carving the pumpkin, while I held the pattern in place. Check it out and see if you can tell what is carved into the pumpkin...

Riley's Graduation

Saturday Riley graduated from her Intermediate level obedience class. She learned to stand, stand & stay, stay with distractions, go to her bed, stay on the bed when someone comes in the door or with a dog walking in front of her, heeling, and a few other things. There were 5 dogs in the class when we began, but we ended with only us and Hershey (the yorkie).
