It's hot!

This gorgeous weather has given Richie the opportunity to build a patio in our backyard. We hit a few road bumps along the way, and laying the stone & making sure it was level was definitely NOT easy, but he survived! I love the way it turned out!

This is what Riley does when we aren't paying attention to her:

She likes to chew on the chain from the gate we took out of the yard before the new fence went in!

One of our "road bumps"...when we got to the bottom of the piles, we had 25 broken stones that could not be used. Home Depot was very nice though and let us exchange them no hassle!

We have a maroon star that my mom had bought us that we are going to put on the house over the patio ( I think )
