Anywho...only 11 days left until the wedding. Today's appointments include the florist and the photographer and then tomorrow is my final dress fitting. I wish I could say that it has all sunk in that I am getting married, but it hasn't yet.
On other horizons...our past couple of weekends have been pretty busy. This past weekend my sister stayed at our house Friday night and then joined Riley and I at what was supposed to be Riley's first intermediate obedience class at PetSmart. Seeing that she was the only one signed up for the class, it was postponed until August 22nd...but the instructor wanted to see how Riley was since she hadn't been in class for 2 months. Surprisingly, she was quiet and content lying on the floor of the training rink, so she'll be fine to wait a little bit longer. We were sent home with a bag of goodies for Riley since we came to class and there wasn't one! After that, we all (Richie, Shana, Riley, and myself) headed down to my parents house for dinner and some doggie playtime! Riley tried out Durham's (Shana's Yorkie) shock collar...and got shocked 3 times! Enough torture for one day! She refused to come off the back porch for a good half an hour or so after the last shock! Poor baby! Needless to say, she was one tired pooch after running around with her cousins (Colby- yellow lab & Durham- yorkie) all afternoon!!! I love doggie play dates! LOL!
The weekend before, the best man in our wedding, Mike, came up to hang out at our house on Saturday afternoon. We had a day of domino playing, hot dog and hamburger grilling, and just good old hanging out. Good times were had by all!
